Terms and Conditions

To secure your booking:

After you have received your quote from us, via our online contact form which is valid for one week. We require a 30% retainer to confirm your booking and secure your date. The retainer is non-refundable if you change your mind and want to cancel your booking for any reason. The balance is due no later than 1 week before the booking via bank deposit. We do not accept cash or payment via card only Bank transfers.

Travel Fee:

The travel fee is calculated as a round trip (there and back) from our base in Papamoa to your requested location. For all bookings more than 20km round trip there is a travel fee. We charge our travel at the rate of $1 per kilometre. Since the travel fee is calculated per artist we will always try to assign the minimum amount of Artists required. If you need to be done in a shorter timeframe then we will need to assign more artists to achieve this. 

We can come at any time you need us. For bookings that we need to start before 7 am, there is a $40 early start fee per artist. Starting 6 am - 5 am, there is an $80 early start fee per artist. Starting before 5 am, there is a $100 early start fee per artist.

We are more than happy to do out-of-town bookings. If we require accommodation due to distance or early start this cost will need to be covered by you.

Trials:

A trial includes one hairstyle and one makeup application which will be decided on between you and your stylist at the beginning of the trial. Additional hairstyles or makeup applications may incur additional fees. If you would like to have another trial because you have decided you want a different look please be prepared to pay again and rebook. Trials are non-refundable upon completion.

We suggest you have your trial 1 - 12 weeks before the big day. However, if you would like it sooner or later than this that is no problem.

Public Holidays:

Yes, we are available on all Public Holidays subject to availability. Please be aware that there is an additional 15% surcharge for the following Public Holidays: New Year's Day, Day after New Year's Day, Waitangi Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, ANZAC Day, Queen's Birthday, Labour Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Changes and Cancelations:

Once you have paid your 30% retainer this means you are agreeing to go ahead with the exact quote we have given you. If for any reason you want to cancel your booking the full 30% retainer paid is non-refundable. If you cancel your booking with less than 1-week notice you are liable for payment of the entire booking. If you want to postpone your booking to a different date you will be charged a 10% rebooking fee. If you need to cancel someone’s services after the retainer is paid, but the rest of the booking stays the same you can either get someone else to take their place or will only lose the retainer paid for them. If you need to cancel someone’s services with less than 1-week notice you can either get someone else to take their place or you are liable for payment of the full price of their services.

If your assigned artist becomes unavailable to do your booking we will notify you as soon as possible and provide another equally amazing artist to take her place. If there is no one to replace your unavailable artist we will refund you. There will be no monetary compensation for the change of artist.

International transfers:

If you will be making a transfer from an overseas bank account, international banking fees will incur. One from your account and one from the NZ transferring account. These fees need to be covered by you, so please make sure the final amount ending in our bank account is the exact amount quoted in NZD. If you are unsure what the amount will be please check with your bank first before making the transfer. We are with Westpac and the SWIFT code for Westpac New Zealand is WPACNZ2W if you need it.

Covid-related policy exceptions:

Although the world seems chaotic and uncertain right now, we want you to know that we are doing our best to make this stressful situation easier for you. We are making some special exemptions to our refund policy if your booking is disrupted by COVID-19.

We are making it 100% free to postpone your booking to a future date, even a currently undefined date if you provide at least six months’ notice. If you provide less than six months’ notice and you need to reschedule with us you will be charged a 10% rebooking fee. Bookings can only be postponed once. If you want to postpone a second time you will be charged another 10% rebooking fee. If you need to cancel the booking due to COVID you will forfeit your retainer. If you want to postpone your date to a date we are not available for you will forfeit your retainer paid so please make sure we are available for the new date to avoid this.

If you need to cancel someone’s services on the invoice due to them being unable to attend if you provide at least three months’ notice then that Is fine. If you provide less than three months’ notice you can either get someone else to take their place or you will lose the retainer paid for their services. 

If we cannot attend the wedding due to COVID, we will do our best to find someone else amazing, to replace us.
